This, indeed, was the comic I was looking for Brilliant.

Thanks magnusunnar (and Kavey), nice to get some actual feedback! I get less of that these days and more of people just posting my cartoons about the place, for which I don’t seem to get much recognition or traffic. The other day one of my cartoons did quite well on reddit and I wasn’t credited at all which was a bummer.

Sorry to hear about the other reddit link! It can be hard to get exposure, and it sucks when you finally do but no-one knows it’s you! Looks like it has been sourced properly this time, though.
Fantastic comic, of course! I’ve always wondered what their memory would be of the incident.

Brilliant, I love the way they’re halfway through their meal but he’s too distracted…exactly like when I’ve had a bad day and need to talk it out. Nice work.

When will this fucking joke die? How many incarnations of the same tired joke can there be? Seriously, this stopped being funny in 1980.
seemikedraw on December 9, 2011 at 3:50 am
Dear Slick, it’s always great to hear from excellent totally-not-cynical people such as yourself. It makes it all worthwhile.

This is really, cute and very funny and it’s my seven year old’s current favourite joke. When we’re on the tram or waiting somewhere she tells random strangers all about it. I let her look through the site and now she wants to watch Star Trek so she can get those jokes as well.

Canicula on February 1, 2012 at 2:02 pm
I like it, it’s a nice personal touch on a theme.
To those who criticise it, why would you bother, I can understand you might think something negative and cynical because it makes you feel better than the rest of us happy people, but why would not keep it to yourself, do you think we care?
seemikedraw on February 6, 2012 at 1:25 am
Canicula, thanks for the nice comment. Pity that such reasonable words will fall on deaf ears – there’s always going to be a bunch of miserable curmudgeons with nothing better to do than spout vitriol around the web.

My brother and I live this comic. Do you sell this as a print? He said he would like to put it on his wall and I was hoping to get it for his birthday.

Love it and posted the comic directly from your site to G+, so maybe you can get more traffics.
