Here’s a little companion piece to complete the tragic lolcat story below.
And yes, I realise this makes no sense whatsoever on its own.

That made me laugh without seeing the other one first, so it does make sense!
Keep up the good work

oh my god! the sinisterness of lolcat goes beyond a dimension! :O i didn’t think it were possible! you are enlightened mike, truely!
Simon on May 18, 2008 at 2:59 pm
I really liked it as a surreal instant. But it makes so much more sense in context.
Pencils at Dawn? Ever going to happen again?
G on May 18, 2008 at 3:43 pm
It all makes sense now! Quick, someone send this to Brian Greene!
I see a Nobel is someone’s future…

Swap out “O’Grady” for Sinclair, and that’s EXACTLY what happend to me once.

OMG. Certifiable genius.
This… OMG… OH MY GAWDS!! ALL OF THEM! ALL THE GODS! EVEN YOURS! AND YOURS!! AND THE LOST ONES!!
All of them…
OAOCG! (OH ALL OUR COMBINED GAWDS!)

You’re a pleasently twisted man. I will be back to check out what’s new here often!

Simon – Pencils at Dawn is alive but not so well at the moment. The plan is to get it going again when we find time. Plus I think Phil was getting upset that I was consistently funnier.
At the moment we’re working on a new site which is a little bit different. Should be up very soon!
Nimish, you just won my patented ‘commenter of the day’! Unfortunately, given our lack of proximity, you’ll have to miss out on your smiley sticker.
And the rest of you, I hope you’ll think twice now before eating an invisible sandwich.
Hugo on May 18, 2008 at 10:32 pm
“Think twice, bite once,” is what I always say. And certainly it’s stood me in good stud…or stead. But Bill ^^ has got a bad case of the Shingles, I’m afraid…

Hilarious! Man, there’s so many layers in your comics. Nicely done.

Great as usual both of them, retarded cats and murdered sandwiches.
LOTNorm on May 19, 2008 at 9:49 am
The eyes do it. Hilarious.
Jasper on May 19, 2008 at 10:39 am
it might not make sense, but it’s funny!!
roodiedoodie on May 19, 2008 at 12:29 pm
It was Colonel Mustard, with the knife, in the Kitchen!
Do I win a prize?
Nimish Batra on May 19, 2008 at 5:34 pm
DAMN YOU INDIAN OCEAN!
Separating moi from smiley stickers via the slow geological process of techtonic movement!

Never seen splatter damage on a sandwich before.
Heather (errantdreams) on May 20, 2008 at 1:40 pm
Oh dear… dark and funny alone; shades of Twilight Zone when paired with the other. *flees in terror*
Madrugada Jones on May 21, 2008 at 3:05 pm
Mike, how do you get your wording to look so good? I have terrible penmanship in my cartoons — is there a word generator out there that I haven’t found, or do you write the dialogue yourself by hand? Help us aspiring cartoonists by telling us your secret. You can click on my name to see my webcomic if you so desire.
