Oh my… one of the best cartoons, although it’s hard to pick a favourite one.
Keep up the good work.
Best regards from Portugal

Haha – Love it, nice touch with the chair tipped over
Joe Chemo on December 6, 2007 at 10:22 pm
The elephant really looks scared. Good job.

Works on so many levels!
Well, two anyway…

Actually elephant’s memories are far better than they let on. They propagate the rumours because most of them are involved in black market ivory trading, and it’s convenient for them to use their memory as an excuse for when the fuzz shows up.

Brilliant Mikey, that is classic you and I love it!!!!!!

I always struggle to do the tusks when trying to draw an elephant… I can’t believe you cheated. I feel robbed!
Paul on December 7, 2007 at 4:08 pm
Hah, poor elephant! It’s not his fault he can’t remember. Least the man didn’t call him Dumbo…
seemikedraw on December 7, 2007 at 9:34 pm
Ok, I have to admit that I totally forgot to draw the tusks. Don’t think I was concentrating back in biology class! Let’s just say they went to the ivory trade. It was a horrible incident that unfortunately he’ll never forget.
Joe Chemo on December 7, 2007 at 10:22 pm
Mike, it could just be a very young elephant. He hasn’t grown them yet.
seemikedraw on December 7, 2007 at 10:47 pm
Exactly! That, or a severe case of gingivitis caused them to fall out.

Why am I laughing so hard at a man calling an elephant a scumbag. Great work as usual
Red Kid on December 8, 2007 at 8:50 am
you must be laughing at the elephant’s expression Pope Terry not the man!
It beats me how Mike managed to sit the elephant on the chair!! Wonderful as ever!!
cowgalutah on December 15, 2007 at 6:23 pm
Does the elephant’s chair have a back like the one that is tipped over? Or did the integrator cheat him out of that comfort?
seemikedraw on December 15, 2007 at 10:54 pm
Actually cowgalutah, if it does have a back it’s probably in a rather uncomfortable position, which could explain his expression.
cowgalutah on December 16, 2007 at 3:48 pm
Something that size would affect my memory too.
CDolejs on December 22, 2007 at 7:05 pm
Ha! At *least* two levels! Having the symbol (mascot? familiar?) of the Republican party claim during questioning that he doesn’t remember anything is funnily understated. Maybe the lack of tusks was actually a subconscious allusion to the emasculated–but still somehow mighty–individual being questioned? Is it considered a “stress posture” when an elephant has to sit on a tiny stool?

חלקי חילוף לרכב on January 3, 2011 at 6:28 pm
