Bingo.

And just a shout out to reddit here, for some formal confirmation type stuff…

Recently I’ve very happily contributed to a new book by Brian Switek called My Beloved Brontosaurus: On the Road with Old Bones, New Science, and Our Favorite Dinosaurs.

Brian is the author of the critically acclaimed Written in Stone: Evolution, the Fossil Record, and Our Place in Nature. He’s a regular online columnist for Smithsonian and Wired, has written for Scientific AmericanNatureThe Wall Street Journal, and The Guardian, and from my dealings with him seems like a really nice guy.

It really does sound like a great read and I’m chuffed to be a part of it so head over to Amazon and check it out – My Beloved Brontosaurus.

So I’ve decided to create a facebook page for seemikedraw. I’ve had quite a bit of interest in doing prints so thought maybe I could use the page to do some competitions for signed prints and whatever else comes to mind (haven’t thought it out much yet!). Anyway, now comes the compulsory plea for your approval! If you’d be gracious enough to head on over and give me a like then I’ll be extremely grateful…

Check it out here.

Thanks!

Whoa, so my last post was BEFORE Game of Thrones! Tsk tsk – so very slack. Anyways, I’m back! (until I slack off again of course). Oh, and if you’re experiencing Higgsteria, you can get this on a shirt here.

So not long now until season 2 of Game of Thrones and I can’t freaking wait! I thought I’d take the opportunity to plug my Winter is Coming shirt, featuring Eddard and Jon frolicking in the accursed winter snow. See how they suffer? Anyways, shirt purchases help to keep me doing what I do and of course they make you look AWESOME*! You can find it here.

*shirts may not actually make you look awesome.

Apologies to those who are offended by this rather crass Star Wars cartoon, but I doodled it as I was drifting off to sleep one night and it made me laugh. So there.

Well, kind of. I was talking to Phil from The Rut the other day about how people don’t comment so much these days, just hit the like button (or not, as it may be). I guess it just depends where you look though, because I just saw this old cartoon on George Takei’s Facebook with 2,527 comments and 21,818 likes… the bummer was that there was no credit. Think I’ll just send all my cartoons to George from now on.

PS – you can find this one over at Neatorama
